2020 application process ended with Selection Colloquium

Like so much else this year, the call for applications was exposed to the very special conditions under Corona.

However, thanks to the commitment and flexibility of the applicants and all those involved, it was possible to successfully conduct the selection colloquium last Thursday in an online format. In its nature, this online version was in no way inferior to previous selection colloquia. For an outstanding scientific institute like ours it is a matter of concern to offer safe ways to each other also during the panic and at the same time to act sustainably.

   

Accordingly, the candidates of the last round introduced themselves to the board with a personal introduction and a poster and convinced everyone of their work up to now. For four of the seven applicants, the next step is to find ways to Magdeburg after the positive decision about the admission to the IMPRS. The IMPRS Coordination Office and the International Office of the Institute will support you in this task.
