Computational Methods in Systems and Control Theory

In silico optimization and control of complex technical processes rely on accurate and fast computational methods.  The research group develops and analyzes mathematical algorithms and methods for computational engineering, with special emphasis on computer-aided control system design and focus on dynamical systems, by using e.g. advanced numerical (multi-)linear algebra techniques, model reduction/system approximation, and parallel algorithms. (Prof. Peter Benner)

Furthermore, the CSC group co-organizes the "Magdeburg Lectures on Optimization and Control" (MALOC) series. The past and current activities can be found at the MALOC webpage at the OVGU.
