Public Relations
The Press Office ensures that the public gains an insight into the research work of the Max Planck Institute Magdeburg. The department processes information for cross media publishing, publishes press releases and organizes press conferences.
Furthermore, the office coordinates activities for high school students, e.g. the annual Practical Training on Process Systems Engineering for high school students or the nationwide Zukunftstag - Girls’ and Boys’ Day.
The Press Office is responsible for presenting the Institute at public events, such as the Science Night or the Tomorrow Labs Science Festival in Magdeburg or other formats for the public, and produces corresponding information material.
Most importantly, the public relations department is responsible for the outbound communication, designs print and online communication projects and implements activities in collaboration with the research groups, service departments and external service providers.
