Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems
The Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg is one of more than 80 institutes belonging to the Max Planck Society (MPG) for the Advancement of Sciences. It is also the first engineering institute established by the Max Planck Society in order to establish bridges between engineering-oriented fundamental research and industrial application. The institute supports eleven research groups and various scientific service groups who are working closely together on different interdisciplinary projects in engineering, chemistry, information technology, biology, and mathematics. Currently, the institute employs about 240 people.
