The research on Systems and Process Engineering for Sustainable Chemical Production started!
After a successful first application period last year, we are excited to announce that our new PhD candidates have arrived, and research started at the International Max Planck Research School for Systems and Process Engineering for Sustainable Chemical Production (IMPRS SysProSus).
Fourteen new doctoral researchers have joined us, along with two researchers transitioning from our previous IMPRS program. With participants from six different countries and a gender-diverse group – nine of them are women - we are proud to maintain a high level of international diversity and strong female representation. Our new researchers have diverse backgrounds and bring fresh perspectives to our research. This closely reflects the interdisciplinary nature of our PhD program.
Our program provides structured support to foster creativity, encourage innovative thinking, and develop the skills needed for independent, high-level scientific work. While a new application cycle is underway, our newly accepted doctoral researchers can focus on their projects, and research is in full swing. Stay tuned for further information on their work. We will introduce them over the coming months.
