New IMPRS for Systems and Process Engineering for a Sustainable Chemical Production granted

November 25, 2024

We are thrilled to announce that our proposal for the establishment of the new International Max Planck Research School for Systems and Process Engineering for a Sustainable Chemical Production (IMPRS SysProSus) has been officially accepted!

This initiative, in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, will pioneer research in:

  • Sustainable chemical production using renewable carbon sources and energy
  • Intelligent, resource-efficient, and autonomous process systems
  • Advanced computational methods and algorithms for chemical systems

The IMPRS SysProSus is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists to meet the challenges of climate neutrality, resource sustainability, and societal acceptance of new technologies.

We are operating in very close collaboration with the SmartProSys Graduate School.
