- Preparation, characterisation and application of materials for (i) storage of thermal energy and (ii) conversion into electricity: investigation of water sorption processes in modified microporous materials, like zeolites, MOFs or AlPOs,
- Novel methods for deposition and structuring of thermoelectricals,
- Synthesis and characterization of photocatalytic active composite materials
- Organic-inorganic composites for water splitting

- Molecular design of materials for CO2 capture and/or energy storage
