FAQ: Library Rules

Which are the opening hours of the library?

The library is open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Members of the institute can apply for use on the weekend.

I am not a member of the insitute. Could I use the library, too?

External people can use the library by appointment. Please contact the librarians.

I have damaged / lost a book. What should I do?

You are liable for damaged or lost media. Please contact the librarians. They will help you to find a replacement.

I would like to work in the library reading room. Which rules should I consider?

Eating, drinking, smoking and talking on the phone is not permitted. Coats, bags etc. should be kept in the lockers near the entrance of the library.

I would like to use electronic resources. Which rules should I consider?

The use of files is restricted to purposes of research and education only. Systematic download of articles and book chapters or search results is forbidden.
