Nonlocal equation have recently become a crucial tool in the modelling and simulation of complex processes that are subject to some form of spatial or temporal heterogeniety. We here focus on solvers for fractional equations for forward and inverse problems. Additionally, we consider the use of fast multipole techniques for more general nonlocal equations.
