The ARB group (Analysis and Redesign of Biological Networks) at the MPI applies modern laboratory methods and mathematical modeling to better understand the metabolism of microorganisms and to optimize it for specific biotechnological applications.
In our laboratory we invite you to a little voyage of discovery: bacteria fluoresce and produce flavors, you can also watch them grow in bioreactors or simulate the metabolism of microorganisms on the computer, and much more.
