Dr. Pawan Goyal awarded with the Dr.-Klaus-Körper Award 2019

Dr. Pawan Goyal, researcher at the MPI CSC group, has been awarded the Dr.-Klaus-Körper Award 2019, given by GAMM (Gesellschaft für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik e.V. / International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics) in appreciation of an excellent dissertation in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics.
Pawan Goyal is a mathematician and alumnus of the International Max Planck Research School Magdeburg. He successfully completed his thesis on the System-Theoretic Model Order Reduction for Bilinear and Quadratic-Bilinear Systems at the Otto von Guericke University in 2018.
The prize is awarded by the Dr.-Klaus-Körper Foundation and includes 250, - Euro as well as a 2-year free membership in the GAMM.
