Main Focus

My research area is "Mathematics and proportional representation" (see Profil on Google Scholar). Since 2013 I am in research management. My tasks at the MPI Magdeburg are among others:

  • Meetings of the heads of research groups
  • Appointments, documentation and reporting
  • Science Advisory Board (SAB) and evaluation
  • Interdisciplinary scientific events (e.g. MPI colloquium series)
  • Support for cooperation agreements with universities and national/international research institutions
  • Maintaining contacts with the EU University Network Saxony-Anhalt and the MPG Brussels Office

  • since September 2023: Scientific coordinator at the MPI for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems.
  • 20217 to 2023: Project staff member / network coordinator at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (early career researchers,  recruitment of professors, equal opportunities).
