Petar Mlinarić appointed as GAMM Junior
Petar Mlinarić, mathematician in the research group Computational Methods in Systems and Control Theory and doctoral student in the International Max Planck Research School Magdeburg, has been named a GAMM Junior by the International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (Gesellschaft für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik GAMM e.V.).
Petar Mlinarić's main research focus is on H2-optimal model order reduction, structure-preserving model order reduction and mathematical software.
The young researchers, awarded with the title GAMM Junior, have graduated with remarkable achievements in their diploma/master and/or PhD thesis in the fields of Applied Mathematics or Mechanics. They will be promoted and encouraged in research networking and active participation.
They represent this field within the academic research and society.
