Seminar - Storytelling in Scientific Writing
This two-day course will guide PhD students through incorporating storytelling principles into their scientific writing. Participants will explore structuring research papers like stories to engage readers and improve clarity. Through a mix of theory and practical exercises, the course will help participants enhance their writing by finding and shaping the narrative in their scientific research.

Intended Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will:
1. Understand the principles of storytelling and how they apply to scientific writing.
2. Identify the "story" within their research and translate complex data into clear, coherent narratives.
3. Improve their ability to write compelling introductions, abstracts, and discussion sections.
4. Develop techniques for communicating scientific results to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
5. Enhance the clarity and flow of their scientific writing through better language and structure.
6. Utilize visual storytelling to complement the written narrative in research papers.
7. Peer review and offer constructive feedback on the narrative structure of research papers
