Science Night in Magdeburg

May 20, 2017: 12th Science Night in Magdeburg - This has been our programme on "Sustainable Ideas for the Future"

The 12th Science Night in Magdeburg took place on Saturday, 20th May 2017. It attracted thousands of Magdeburg citizens into open universities and research institutions. The MPI offered a programme to discover basic research in the engineering sciences: during guided tours in English through our institute, Nerd Nite short lectures on our research topics and in experiments for kids and grown-ups!

Guided tours - also in English language - into selected laboratories and the pilot scale lab at Max Planck Institute Magdeburg.

NERD NITE GOES SCIENCE NIGHT: Energy, Resources and Science

Have a seat, make yourself at home in our Science Lounge and listen to up-to-date research. Nerd Nite is a (monthly) event held in more than 100 cities across the globe, and also in Magdeburg, during which several folks give 20-minute fun-yet-informative presentations across all disciplines. It’s like the Discovery Channel… with beer.
