The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) is organizing a Winter School in Magdeburg, where PhD candidates are invited to further discuss distinct challenges on the way to a Sustainable Chemical Production. Outstanding experts from all over the world are invited to come to Magdeburg not only to share their knowledge and expertise, but also to expand their scientific networks with engaged young researchers.

Nearly every two years, the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) organizes a well-received Summer or Winter School in Magdeburg, where PhD candidates are invited to further discuss distinct challenges on the way to a Sustainable Chemical Production. Outstanding experts from all over the world are invited to come to Magdeburg not only to share their knowledge and expertise, but also to expand their scientific networks with engaged young researchers.

The program is composed of lectures and tutorials that enable participants to put all theoretical tools acquired into practice. Furthermore, a cultural and social agenda completes the schedule of five intensive days of research, exchange, reflection and… fun!

Doctoral researchers of the IMPRS SysProSus, as well as PhD candidates and advanced master students working on related topics, are invited to register and make next years Winter School a success. We are looking forward to welcoming you in February 2027.
