In the broad field of Scientific Computing our team's main focus is on the optimal exploitation of modern (computer) hardware in mathematical computations. A special emphasis is on the implementation of linear algebra tasks required in the work of the other teams. Also, power consumption of computatios has become an increasingly important topic.
