The Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems (MPI) is looking for a student (m/f/d) for experimental activities as a research assistant (HiWi) within the Max-DePoly project on the topic “Experimental depolymerization of polyamides”. The project deals with the chemical recycling of polymers, especially polyamides.

Task description

  • Performance of depolymerization experiments in the laboratory at MPI
  • Analysis of the depolymerization products in the laboratory at MPI
  • Electronic documentation of the results
  • Literature research


  • Lab experience
  • Knowledge of modern analytical methods such as NMR, GC, HPLC
  • Structured and clean way of working


  • Start: from 01.01.2023 at the earliest
  • Time span: approx. 20-40 h/month, 3 months with the option of extension
  • Payment: 12 €/h without bachelor's degree; 13.60 €/h with bachelor's degree
