The Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg invites applications for a Postdoc Position within the framework of the Ernst Dieter Gilles Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Ernst Dieter Gilles was the founding director of the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems. In his honor, we offer gifted young scientists and researchers the possibility of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship.
Selected candidates will receive their offer directly from one of the four supporting departments covering a wide range of research opportunities in the fields of chemical/bioprocess engineering, energy/process systems engineering, systems and synthetic biology, and systems theory and control engineering including computational and machine learning approaches.
The focus will be on applications from candidates in early stages of their career who plan to develop and implement an independent research project.
The Max Planck Institute in Magdeburg offers excellent research opportunities in a stimulating and friendly environment. Grant and travel allowances are dependent on personal profile and research project for a maximum of 24 months.
