Hannsjörg Freund appointed as Professor for Catalytic Reactors and Process Technology at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hannsjörg Freund, 38, was appointed as professor for Catalytic Reactors and Process Technology at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), starting January 1st, 2012.
Hannsjörg Freund has worked from 2005 to 2011 as a senior scientist in the MPI group Process Systems Engineering where he headed a research group on Process Intensification. In 2011 he received in the framework of the EAM Award a 750,000 euros research grant.

Ulrike Krewer appointed as Professor at the Institute for Energy and Process Systems Engineering at TU Braunschweig

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrike Krewer was appointed as full professor and head of the institute for Energy and Process Systems Engineering at Braunschweig University of Technology, starting January 1st, 2012. From 2008 to 2011 Ulrike Krewer headed the Otto Hahn Group Portable Energy Systems at the Max Planck Institute Magdeburg.

2nd Indo-German Workshop on Advances in Reaction and Separation Processes

The 2nd International Workshop on Advances in Reaction and Separation Processes will be held from 20th to 22nd February 2012 in Bad Herrenalb. The Workshop is being organized by the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, Magdeburg, and the Chemical Engineering Department of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India.
