Living and working in Magdeburg


Magdeburg is the capital of the German state Saxony-Anhalt. It had been a city of Heavy Mechanical Engineering during the period of industrialization and became a city of Science during the last 20 years after the German reunification. It is situated in the beautiful landscapes of the river Elbe floodplains, with several parks and a good infrastructure for cycling, in-line skating or hiking.
