  1. Applicants need to supply:

    1. A Curriculum vitae (including a photo) highlighting educational stages, relevant course work, major academic achievements, and prior research experience, including published or communicated research results. Please list any personal scholarships, awards and similar distinctions relevant to the IMPRS with dates and a short description.

    2. A personal statement (1 page maximum) explaining your motivation and reasons for applying for the IMPRS Magdeburg. Try to explain why you chose a certain topic. This letter is a very important part of your application.

    3. Scans of all academic certificates and transcripts documenting your grades.

    4. Certificate of an English test (e.g. TOEFL)

  2. In addition, applicants are encouraged to supply one or two representative research publications, if possible. Please do not include class project reports!
  3. Please upload a single .PDF file containing the above documents.
