Have you ever considered to apply your research into an own business? We are pleased to announce the Startup Engineering workshop organized by the PhD representatives of the Max Planck Institute in Magdeburg:


  • Workshop Title: Startup Engineering: Introduction to the Lean-Startup Method
  • Objective: This 8 hours workshop is for PhD-Students / Post-Docs who are thinking about to start their own business or work in a startup team, and want to know how the Lean-Startup-Methodology can be used to engineer an idea for ending up in a startup.
  • Main speaker: Dr.-Ing. Stefan Knoll, Startup Engineer at the Transfer and Start-up Center der Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg. Further information about the lecturer: http://www.idea-engineer.de/
  • Additional talk: Dr. Kluge from the MPI Innovation will give a presentation about „IP and patents within the MPG“ . Further information about the lecturer: http://www.max-planck-innovation.de/

  • Place: Max Planck Institute of Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg.
